The older I get, the more clearly I recognize  the face of Christ. 
He’s always been there in the patchwork of the people in my life.
I see Him grinning in my husband’s eyes when he’s forgiving my attitude again. 
I sense him in the conversations that I have with my best friend. 
A stranger’s smile, my children’s hugs, the way my parents care
Through every “no” and sorrow in my life
 His goodness has been there 
Crafting this custom mosaic He’s created just for me 
to reveal His precious face for my heart alone to see.
I’ve been reading “Friendship in the Lord” with the @abidingtogetherpodcast ladies and been so moved by the ministry of friendship! It inspired this painting and poem ❤️‍🔥
